Sobelman, Founder of Saltykovka (1993)

The first or one of the first films made in the USSR in the genre of "mockumentary". It tells about a real historical person and long-standing events, while the main action takes place in modern times. The 30s — the time of Sobelman's deeds — appear in the newsreel frames.
