Biography

Paul James Houghton is an award-winning Filmmaker, Director, Writer, Creative Producer and the founder of Dreamotion Studios. He is working on several projects directly with a major studio in Los Angeles, in addition to numerous independent and collaborative creative projects via his production company and studio. Paul is a proud supporter of equality and diversity in his professional and personal life, and a fine role model for his 2 young daughters. His directorial debut was the award-winning short film, 'From Under The Bridge: When Bullies Become Trolls', which is centered around bullying and cyber-bullying and is based on real events. Paul also wrote the screenplay for this film, which has won many awards including multiple 'Best Film' wins. Originally from England, Paul now resides in Orange County, California. He sold a screenplay to a major Hollywood studio and committed to a career in film in 2019. Prior to this, he supported his family and gained industry recognition as an executive Vice President in Design. He is widely regarded and respected as a proven leader, with extensive creative diversity and business expertise. Paul is a passionate and caring individual, and an advocate for a better world by reducing and eliminating hatred, which is clearly evident in his film - 'From Under The Bridge'.
