Biography

An Egyptian writer, born on June 15, 1934 in Qus, Qena Governorate. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University. His literary tendencies began to appear since childhood, and during his university studies he had several attempts to write poetry and short stories. At the beginning of his professional life, he worked as an assistant to the great screenwriter (Abdelhai Adeeb) until his first start was with the scenario of the film (Men Do Not Marry Beautiful Women) 1965. This was followed by many scenarios for many films, the most important of which are: (The Students' House) 1967, (The Grandson) 1974, (Love Alone Is Not Enough) 1980, and his last work was the film (Ya Nas Yahoo) in 1991. Ahmed Abdel Wahab received several awards, the most important of which are: the first Ministry of Culture Award for the scenario of the film (The Grandson), an award for the best scenario and dialogue for the film (Pay Attention, Gentlemen), and he also received many awards from the Catholic Center Festival for Egyptian Cinema.
