Niamh West

Niamh West (she/her) is an Irish producer based in Scotland - She is the founder of FlowerPunk Films, a production company which champions female, femme and queer stories. Niamh has produced numerous award-winning shorts and recently produced Hot Young Geek Seeks Blood-Sucking Freak in association with Randan Productions with the support of SQIFF and the National Lottery Community Fund. Niamh produced and wrote HANGNAIL, premiering in May 2023 at Cannes AVIFF, winning Best Drama. Most recently, the film was screened at the Bolton Film Festival, British Urban Film Festival, and Belfast Film Festival. Niamh has continued to produce Sons (2022) and Fed Happy (2023) and is on the festival circuit with upcoming short films Popper (premiering at Women X in September 2024) and Hot Young Geek Seeks Blood-Sucking Freak (premiering at Scottish Queer International Film Festival in October 2024).
